What are the wedding colors?

Wedding colors are Gold, Cream, and Blush. The Bridal party will be in Pink and Pink florals. Please keep this in mind when selecting your attire.

What is Garden Formal?

Floor-length dresses with an emphasis on floral prints and spring color palettes. For men a Dark Suit or Tux.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Sorry, No children under the age of 16 or anyone not included on wedding invitations.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Pictures are allowed, in fact, they are encouraged!

Will there be animals?

Yes, Our venue has horses on site, as well as cats and swans. Please come prepared if you are allergic or have allergies.

Do I get a plus one?

If you were granted a Plus One your invite will have +1 listed on it. In order for us to have an accurate count on the number of people attending please check that you are bringing your +1 when you RSVP on the website and provide their details.

How do I get there?

There are 2 major airports. We recommend flying into Wilmington International (ILM) however, depending on your location Raleigh International may have better accommodating flights.

Is there a gift registry?

Yes. Since we move frequently we are keeping our registry simple. We are asking for funds towards our honeymoon and building up our savings towards our new life together and future moving expenses.

What are the weekend events and wedding day timeline?

To be determined. Check back as we get closer to the wedding date and the timelines of events get refined.

What is the dress code?

The wedding will be “Garden Formal”, so please dress accordingly. This is your chance to look dapper and elegant!

What should we bring?

The Watson House is within walking distance of the beach and there are tons of fun things to do around the area like Golf, Putt-Putt, and Go-Kart. Feel free to bring your swimming attire and golf shoes.

Where should we stay?

We have made reservation accommodations with the Islander Hotel located 2 miles up the road. There are limited rooms so please book early. Emerald Isle is full of beach houses as well if you prefer to make your own accommodations via VRBO, Airbnb, or other. The where to stay page also includes several hotel recommendations nearby.
